Sexual Safety Assurance Diagnostic for NHS Trusts

30 October 2026
Can your Trust evidence the preventative action it has taken?
Employment Rights Act 2025
From 30 October 2026, the Employment Rights Act 2025 will strengthen employers’ responsibilities for preventing workplace sexual harassment.
NHS Trusts will need to demonstrate the preventative action they have taken, including how they are identifying and managing sexual harassment risks and responding to risks involving third parties.
For NHS organisations, this creates an important assurance question:
Can your Trust clearly evidence the risks it has identified, the preventative controls it has implemented and the action it is taking to protect its workforce?
Why RVM Global?
RVM Global combines practical NHS and pre-hospital experience with organisational development, risk, governance and assurance methodology.
Our approach is independent, collaborative and evidence-led, translating complex organisational issues into clear assurance, identified risks, effective controls and practical action.
Interested in understanding your Trust’s current sexual safety assurance position?
Contact RVM Global for an initial confidential conversation about the diagnostic and whether it could support your organisation.
A whole-system approach:
Effective sexual safety assurance cannot sit with one team alone. The diagnostic is designed to bring together relevant perspectives from areas such as People/HR, Employee Relations, FTSU, Safeguarding, EDI/OD, Learning & Development, operational and clinical leadership, governance, staff networks and trade unions.
A structured, independent two-month diagnostic designed to help NHS Trusts understand their current sexual safety assurance position, identify risks and control gaps, and prioritise sustainable improvement.

This is a substantive two-month consultancy intervention — not a self-assessment questionnaire or introductory audit.
The aim is to give participating Trusts a clear, practical understanding of their current assurance position and the actions required to strengthen it.
